Architect

Clive is an experienced architect with a career spanning over 40 years. Clive formed Spencer Architecture in 1992 and over three decades has created the leading practice that it is today, building its strong reputation for achieving the best results for clients.

Prior to forming Spencer Architecture, Clive was an associate director at Hunter & Partners in Mayfair, London, where he led a number of large-scale projects including the transformation and redevelopment of 14-16 Cockspur Street – the old historic P&O building on Haymarket, into office buildings.

Now, based near Andover in Hampshire, Clive enjoys being able to build a close partnership with his clients, quickly foreseeing and maximising the potential of buildings, and guiding them through every step of the design and planning process.

Building Surveyor

Chris joined Spencer Architecture in 1995, leading the practice’s building surveyor division. Since then, Chris has gone on to use his extensive practical and technical expertise, specialising in Party Wall matters, Repairs and Maintenance of commercial and residential properties and Dilapidations discussions acting for both Landlords and Tenants for many clients, mostly on a repeat or referral basis.

Prior to joining Spencer Architecture, Chris spent over 10 years as a Senior Building Surveyor at Grant & Partners in Mayfair, London, working on many high end new build and refurbishment residential and commercial projects.
